The Indian Community Centre is based in the Carlisle Methodist Memorial Church hall, and was established in 1981. The centre has long been a hub for arts and cultural activities for the Indian Community in Northern Ireland, and has always sought to include the wider community wherever possible.
The centre is an information point for the Indian Community, and is a regular point of contact for those seeking greater cultural awareness and understanding. We run many activities in the centre, and also participate regularly in the advocacy and representation of the Indian Community at all levels, from grassroots to government. We welcome interest and participation from all communities and individuals and hope you feel free to join in the celebration of our diverse Northern Ireland community. The ICC is a committee run organisation, and currently has a staff of 3.
