Laurel Gray
Laurel Gray is Senior Event Manager for ICC Belfast, leading a team of event managers, working hand-in-hand with clients to transform event visions into reality.
Laurel joined the ICC Belfast team in 2016 as an Event Planner and was part of the original team at the opening of ICC Belfast as a dedicated convention centre. She was later promoted to Senior Event Manager in 2021, becoming a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
As a young mother, a wife, and leader of a diverse team, Laurel is passionate about wellbeing and creating a sustainable environment for people to thrive in. As someone who benefited from placement opportunities at the start of her career, she is committed to nurturing future event professionals and has been involved in establishing student placement, internships, and apprenticeships within ICC Belfast. She is a mentor on the SistersIN Leadership Programme, which is designed to enable, empower and develop female pupils in education to become the leaders of tomorrow.
As part of a cohort of event professionals who completed the AIPC Future Shapers Programme, Laurel has established an international network with event experts, utilising these connections to better both, ICC Belfast, and the overall perspective of working in the event industry.
Cool, calm and collected Laurel leads from the front, understanding the needs of clients and events, she ensures the ICC Belfast event operations team are aligned to the goals and objectives of the events we host.
Through her leadership ICC Belfast event operations have gone from strength to strength, delivering an impressive list of large-scale business events and working with some high-profile clients.
